Pregnant woman getting a exam

We know that you will face big decisions about your pregnancy. That’s why we want to give you all the facts and tools you need.

Why is Prenatal Care Important?

  • Prenatal care dramatically reduces the risk of having a baby who is sick or has a low birth weight
  • During prenatal visits, your provider will talk with you about things you can do to give your unborn baby a healthy start to life
  • Pregnancy and childbirth are natural processes, and most of the time they go well. But, just as you wear a seat belt when riding in a car, it’s best to be prepared for any situation that may come along. Proper care before and during your pregnancy can help reduce health risks to you and your baby
  • Prenatal care can help provide emotional support to you (and your family) and help you develop a relationship with your provider.

Each of our Hillcrest Pregnancy Care Centers offers:
