We know that you will face big decisions about your pregnancy. That’s why we want to give you all the facts and tools you need.
Why is Prenatal Care Important?
- Prenatal care dramatically reduces the risk of having a baby who is sick or has a low birth weight
- During prenatal visits, your provider will talk with you about things you can do to give your unborn baby a healthy start to life
- Pregnancy and childbirth are natural processes, and most of the time they go well. But, just as you wear a seat belt when riding in a car, it’s best to be prepared for any situation that may come along. Proper care before and during your pregnancy can help reduce health risks to you and your baby
- Prenatal care can help provide emotional support to you (and your family) and help you develop a relationship with your provider.
